Awesome NFL Football Drinking Games: Playoff and Super Bowl Edition

footballdrinkinggame

It’s NFL playoff season, which means it’s time for you football fans to stop washing your lucky jerseys and socks, no matter how stiff or smelly they become. You don’t want to jinx your team now, do you?

To make these Sunday smackdowns even more entertaining, we’ve created these fun Football Drinking Games, which include live-action challenges along with prompts for your favorite team pump-up songs. Even non-football fans can enjoy the shenanigans with the dares below.

At this writing, there are still four teams left before Super Bowl Sunday on Feb. 1, 2015, so we’ve come up with categories for each championship contender: The Green Bay Packers vs. The Seahawks and the Indianapolis Colts vs. the New England Patriots. But there are plenty of Super Bowl-themed tilt-and-gulps too.

So whether you’re cheering in the stands or lazing in your favorite recliner, hoist the (nonalcoholic or, ahem, other) beverage of your choice whenever these events take place …

Everybody!

Drink when …
*An ad plays with an AC/DC song (Examples: “Play Ball” or “Back in Black”)
*There’s a time-out
*An announcer reports how loud the fans are
*A Beats by Dre commercial airs starring Seattle’s Richard Sherman or any NFL player, really
*An announcer volunteers a random stat that has no relation to the action on the field
*Someone in the room yells like he (or she) just scored the touchdown
*Justin Bieber’s new Calvin Klein ads air

Green Bay Packers Fans

Drink when …
Bon Jovi’s “This Is Our House” Plays
Tom Brady over-celebrates completing 10 yards
The Gronk scores and spikes the ball, possibly denting the field
An ad featuring Gisele plays

Seattle SeaHawks Fans

Drink when …
“Outta Your Mind” by Lil Jon plays
The first four notes of Phish’s song “Wilson” play (“duh dunt, duh dunt”) and the crowd cheers “Wilson!” (Usually after Russell Wilson and the offense take the field for the first time)
Richard Sherman mouths off to a referee, coach, fan, hot dog vendor or anyone within 15 miles
“Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis plays, typically after a touchdown

Indianapolis Colts Fans

Drink when …
Andrew Luck gets tackled and compliments the sacker (Example: “Nice hit, guy”)
The Colts pull a 3rd down blitz
Anyone references Peyton Manning
An announcer mentions Luck’s “beard” or his Stanford stats
